Support for the homeless and those in need
He Rourou Aroha is a free community lunch service for the homeless and those in need, available fortnightly (excluding public holidays). Our service operates out of Huria Marae, located at 1 Te Kaponga St, Judea. We offer a pick-up/drop-off service from the domain gate opposite the courthouse between 11:00 am and 11:30 am.
Showers and laundry ($2 per load) are available from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. Lunch is served at 12:00 pm.
We also offer a range of services to support our community, including access to a free nurse, Whānau Ora support, and training & employment pathway planning.
